Welcome to my website! My name is Gabi Widurek. I am a PhD language researcher, content creator, and corpus linguistics enthusiast. With an MA in TESOL from University College Dublin, I am currently pursuing a PhD in Linguistics at the same university. I have experience in sales, content creation, and brand management, and I am passionate about empowering Multilingual Users of English in business settings.
This website is dedicated to my MA Thesis. I am passionate about empowering people, for whom English is not a first language, to speak their minds in boardrooms and beyond. This website was created to share the findings of my research conducted for my MA thesis in 2021. I built a Business English corpus of the Annual Reports of 20 Irish Companies (ISEQ 20) and conducted several linguistic analyses, revealing some fascinating insights!
